well first of all I was not at the keynote. but in my infinite want of needing to know more I kept up with the keynote on when all was said and done about 6 websites. one was a twitteresc search live update, it was not keeping up with what I was needing it had to go. the other one that went fairly quickly was cnet.com it just seemed not to be keeping up so well. the big 3 i kept up on the f5 updates were crunch gear ARS technica and engadget. for audio until it went out I was listening to Chris.parillo’s live feed.
Now i will admit i am not a huge mac fan-boy, but i do enjoy the platform and style. and with some of the new things they are doing with the software and hardware are nice. the new box packaging of iLife, iWork, and leopard for $169 and is shipping later this month. this is great, why you may ask is that unlike Microsoft the software is reasonably priced as well as more features than Microsoft offers. some of the other cool things with the iLife are the photo tagging and geotagging that can upload to facebook as well as flickr. another thing that caught my attention is that it has facial recognition to help you organize your photos into albums by people.
The new mac-book that was shown today is another I want one moments for me. the battery can last up to 8 hours as well as has two integrated graphics cards. the new battery was custom designed and uses custom shaped cells. as well as adaptive charging technologies.
well one last thing as I wrap this up id that iTunes now not only is going DRM free but, the music store now works over 3G. what does this mean it means you can buy music on your iPhone and sync to your computer. I know not every one may be impressed with these announcements but I think they are kick. let me know what you think in the comments.
